Competition

Leaderboard & Weekly Challenge

Every calendar week, all players solve the same 100-piece puzzle – same image, same size, same conditions. Only time and hints decide your placement. The worldwide ranking is updated once a day.

Scoring

How your weekly score is built

The minimum is 100 points. Example: 3 minutes with no help gives 9,600 points, with one hint 7,900. On a tie, the shorter solve time ranks first, then the earlier finish.

Equal conditions

Magnet and reference image are disabled in the weekly challenge. Hints are allowed but cost so much that they are no route to the top.

Play style per month

The play style applies to everyone for a whole calendar month and alternates monthly between Relaxed (no rotation) and Classic (with rotation).

Until Monday

Each edition runs until the week changes on Monday. A weekly puzzle you have started simply continues where you left off.

Season

Monthly season & leagues

The weekly challenge is really a monthly challenge: each calendar month, your best 3 of 4 weeks count. Weaker or missed weeks are dropped – so missing a week doesn't hurt you.

Season points

Your three best weekly scores of the month make up your season points and your place in the global season ranking.

League & division

Your placement within the current season. It stays provisional until the season ends and is then locked in for good.

The 5th week

If a month has a rare fifth week, it stays playable but doesn't count toward the season. That way every month has the same number of scoring weeks and the statistics stay comparable.

FAQ

Leaderboard questions

How often does the leaderboard update?

Once a day. Results from completed weekly runs are included and rankings are recalculated.

Do I need Premium for the weekly challenge?

No. The weekly challenge, leaderboard, monthly season and leagues are free for every player.

Why are hints allowed if they cost so many points?

So nobody gets stuck. If you can't progress, you can still finish the puzzle. For the top spots, though, solving without help pays off.

Do runs in “no time pressure” mode count?

No. Untimed runs and runs where pieces were revealed stay local on your device and don't enter the worldwide ranking.

What are activity points?

Your personal total of solved pieces, weighted by play style, without a speed bonus. They show your progress but are not a global ranking.
