The play style decides whether pieces are rotated and how generously they snap. You choose the piece count independently.

Tips for your next puzzle
- Edges and corners first: the frame gives you fixed boundaries. The edge filter shows only those pieces.
- Sort by colour: from 100 pieces, Piecely can sort pieces by colour automatically.
- Pre-build groups: join matching pieces into islands off the board and slide them into place later.
- Zoom in: pinch or use the mouse wheel to work precisely in tricky spots.

How many pieces does a puzzle have?
You choose between roughly 25 and 1500 pieces. The exact split depends on the image and its resolution, because the grid adapts to the aspect ratio automatically.
What devices does Piecely run on?
Piecely is optimised for tablet and PC, in landscape and portrait. It is playable on phones, but large puzzles naturally get fiddly on a small screen.
What is the weekly challenge?
Every calendar week, all players solve the same 100-piece puzzle under identical conditions. The play style alternates monthly between Relaxed and Classic. More on scoring and leagues
Can I turn my own photos into a puzzle?
Not yet. Your own photos are coming as a Premium feature. At launch, you choose from 140+ images.
Will I lose my progress if I close the app?
No, your progress is saved automatically. Free play lets you keep two puzzles open in parallel, Premium up to ten.
